Vision of Subtle Lies-by Pam Brown.
God gave me a vision 1 1/2 years ago about one of the biggest names in the Christian world and showed me what this person and many other leaders are doing to the body.  I saw a HUGE "SUBTLE" written in the sky after this person’s name came up.  I was sobbing like I’ve
never sobbed before. It was breaking the heart of Jesus. I kept asking Jesus what was breaking his heart so badly and that’s when this scripture came to mind…"How I wish I could gather you as a mother hen gathers her chicks but you would not listen."I knew that Scripture and cried even harder because I knew that Jesus wanted the church to turn from her deception and follow Him. That told me that Jesus is very much aware that many in His body are being lead astray.  They are deceived and the only one who can open their eyes and get them to repent is Jesus.  It’s a mixture or a malgam of the truth and lies. The sense that I got was that much of the  church had been contaminated. Poisoned and didn’t even know it.  Doctrine of demons had entered, New Age/occult ideas and books had infiltrated the body (many are in the Christian bookstores) and famous pastors were leading thousands down the "Apostate Church " road.  Not the true church of Jesus Christ.  They were leaving out the name of Jesus, the cross, repentance and the blood. It has become a "Social" gospel to many in the church. Just do "good things" and attach the name of God to it… Oh how I pray that people in the church will wake up!! Well, that was my interpretation of this 20 minute sobbing session that I had with Jesus.  Even though I felt like Jesus was extremely sad at how easily His leaders and sheep were lead astray…I still felt like He was going to do some shaking and gather back as many "chicks" as possible from the enemy’s camp. He doesn’t need a huge army… he just needs a few people that will do what he tells them to do and HE will make the needed changes.  Not everyone has fallen into deception.  That’s the good news. Just like Elijah thought he was the only one left and God showed him that there were 7,000 other people that didn’t bow their knee to Baal. That’s the situation with the church today.

Praise God!!

Oh, why am I here in this place of unrest
When others have entered the land of the blest?
God’s way of salvation was preached unto men;
I heard it and heard it, again and again.

Why did I not listen and turn from my sin
And open my heart and let Jesus come in?
For vain earthly pleasures my soul did I sell
The way I had chosen has brought me to hell.

I wish I were dreaming, but ah, it is true.
The way to be saved I had heard and I knew;
My time on the earth, oh, so quickly fled by,
How little I thought of the day I would die.

When God’s Holy Spirit was pleading with me,
I hardened my heart and I turned from His plea.
The way that was sinful, the path that was wide,
I chose and I walked till the time that I died.

Eternally now, I must dwell in this place.
If I from my memory could but erase
The thoughts of my past which are haunting me so.
Oh, where is a refuge to which I can go?

This torture and suff’ring, how long can I stand?
For Satan and demons this only was planned.
God’s refuge is Jesus, the One that I spurned;
He offered salvation, but from Him I turned.

My brothers and sisters I wish I could warn.
Far better ‘twould be if I had not been born.
The price I must pay is too horrid to tell
My life without God led directly to Hell.

Oh, soul without Christ, will these words be your cry?
God’s Word so declares it that all men must die.
From hell and its terrors, Oh, flee while you may!
So, come to the Saviour; He’ll save you today!

A SERMON INTENDED FOR READING ON LORD’S DAY, OCTOBER 7TH, 1894
AT THE METROPOLITAN TABERNACLE, NEWINGTON. ON LORD’S-DAY EVENING, JULY 22ND, 1888.

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest
them which are sent onto thee, how often would I have gathered
thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under
her wings, and ye would not!” — Matthew 23:37.

THIS is not and could not be the language of a mere man. It would be
utterly absurd for any man to say that he would have gathered the
inhabitants of a city together, “even as a hen gathereth her chickens under
her wings.” Besides, the language implies that, for many centuries, by the
sending of the prophets, and by many other warnings, God would often
have gathered the children of Jerusalem together as a hen gathereth her
chickens under her wings. Now, Christ could Read the rest of this entry »

Alas! in these times, certain men glory in being weathercocks; they hold fast nothing; they have, in fact, nothing worth the holding. They believed yesterday, but not that which they believe today, nor that which they will believe tomorrow; and he would be a greater prophet than Isaiah who should be able to tell what they will believe when next the moon doth fill her horns, for they are constantly changing, and seem to have been born under that said moon, and to partake of her changing moods. These men may be as honest as they claim to be, but of what use are they? Like good trees oftentimes transplanted, they may be of a noble nature, but they bring forth nothing; their strength goes out in rooting and re-rooting, they have no sap to spare for fruit. Be sure you have the truth, and then be sure you hold it. Be ready for fresh truth, if it be truth; but be very chary how you subscribe to the belief that a better light has Read the rest of this entry »

An Open Letter to Brothers and Sisters in Christ from Bud Press, Director

Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. –1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

As you may know, I have taken the time to educate myself on the problem of domestic abuse and the mindset of a female abuser. I have communicated with both Christian and non-Christian abuse counselors locally and nationwide, written a Letter to the Editor of our local newspaper, shared my concerns with numerous pastors locally, and written the story, “The Waitress, the Man, and the Rose” ( http://tinyurl.com/WaitressManRose ).

Yesterday, during another phone conversation with Paula Silva (a Christian counselor and former sufferer of domestic abuse), I was informed of the widespread abuse occurring within the body of Christ, and that many of the calls she receives are from pastors’ wives–all of whom are suffering from one or more forms of domestic abuse (verbal, emotional, and physical).

Yes, you read it right: wives of pastors are being verbally, emotionally, and physically abused by the very men who stand in their pulpits at least three times per week preaching the love and compassion of Jesus Christ. Read the rest of this entry »

The following excerpt is from chapter 10, "The Evils of the Present Time, and Our Object, Necessities, and Encouragements," in An All-Round Ministry.
I see the spirit of compromise concerning holiness and sin, truth and error, far too prevalent. The spirit of compromise comes not of the Spirit of God, but of the spirit of the world.
It is always wisest and best to exhibit clear decision upon fundamental points; we must draw the line distinctly, and then stand to it firmly. Do not alter your course because of winds and currents. Do not try to make things pleasant all round.
Do not be like the fellow, in one of the American towns, who saw a traveller leaning against a lamp-post, weary and worn with his journey. The traveller enquired of him how far it was to such a place, and was told that it was ten miles. The weary traveller sighed, and said, "I shall never hold out. I shall faint on the road."
"Ah!" said his sympathizing informant, "I did not know you were quite so far gone, I will knock off three miles, and make it seven for you."
Of course, this operation in words did not alter the fact, nor really reduce the ten to seven. Yet this is the method of some weakly, amiable souls; they tone down truth, forgetting that their tone does not affect the fact.
This obligation is too severe; and, therefore, it is suggested that it may be somewhat relaxed. This doctrine is too stern; so make it wear a milder aspect. This manner of pleasing everybody at any cost is the style of the period. If sin, and human depravity, and so forth, are strongly spoken of in the old theology, run off to the new, and soften matters. If the punishment of the impenitent too much alarms men, treat it lightly, and spirit it away; who wants to win converts by fear?
Yes, yes; "make it seven."
But what avail your soft words? The distance is all the same for your lying; and when the deceived one finds it to be so, he will pour no blessings upon your heads.
May the Lord save us from the doom of deceivers of souls! May we be watchmen who will be clear of the blood of all men! Be decided yourselves; and then, like men who themselves stand fast, you will be able to help others whose feet are slipping.

I haven’t had much time to blog, didn’t want to twitter the recent sad news news we received either because, It just didn’t feel right in my spirit.sad-face03 One has been pondering on the futility of life for the past 2 weeks now, with the recent passing of two of my mums drivers both died one week apart one in a fiery car crash that claimed many lives and involved about 4 cars in all. As for  the other driver don’t know much details because he worked with her years ago but he died last week, so we heard … then there is  that of Michael Jackson (whom every body loved in my family and World over), Farrah Fawcet and Ed McMahon, it reminds us all of the vanity of all the Mundane activities, we choke ourselves up with daily,  the Bible says. . .  Vanity of vanities," says the Preacher of Ecclesiastes, "All is vanity… All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.", for what did they all labor for? For what do we all strive for ? to eat and drink? and quarrel and bear grudges? gather and store up riches to our own hurt? become a snare unto another just so we would feel better about ourselves?  Abandon our God given responsibilities to God and  families in search of the proverbial “golden fleece”, and a new life we so crave and desire, all these… for what!? “What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun?”” one can only see that it is only a matter of time before we all come face to face with the king of king and the Lord  of Lords. . . what then!? Indeed, how can people avoid what they don’t know is going to happen?  None of us can hold back our spirit from departing. None of us has the power to prevent the day of our death. There is no escaping that obligation, that dark battle” Ecc 8:7.

This whole situation brings us back to the question of where will you spend eternity? though a simple question… very pithy indeed! but many would rather not think about that and many would just rather wish it away but, if life is real , so is death … . the Bible warns us to Yes, remember your Creator now while you are young, before the silver cord of life snaps and the golden bowl is broken. Don’t wait until the water jar is smashed at the spring and the pulley is broken at the well. 7 For then the dust will return to the earth, and the spirit will return to God who gave it.

Oh Please God Save us from your Holy Wrath!

In conclusion, The bible also has this to say about  life and it’s inevitable end "For what is your life?" asks the apostle James. "It is a vapor that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away."

I hope that we all take solace in the strength of the Holy Ghost and remember that Jesus is coming very soon.

C. H . Spurgeon, An All-round Ministry, page. 70

 spurgeon5 .

Isaiah 45:22, “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.

My dear friends, this is a very simple text indeed. It says, ‘Look.’ Now lookin’ don’t take a deal of pain. It ain’t liftin’ your foot or your finger; it is just, ‘Look.’ Well, a man needn’t go to College to learn to look. You may be the biggest fool, and yet you can look. A man needn’t be worth a thousand a year to be able to look. Anyone can look even a child can look. But then the text says, ‘Look unto Me.’ Ay!” said the preacher, in broad Essex, “many on ye are lookin’ to yourselves, but it’s no use lookin’ there. You’ll never find any comfort in yourselves. Some look to God the Father. No, look to Him by-and-by. Jesus Christ says, ‘Look unto Me.’ Some on ye say, ‘We must wait for the Spirit’s workin’.’ You have no business with that just now. Look to Christ The text says, ‘Look unto Me.’” Read the rest of this entry »

Pathway to Victory  -  Dr. Robert Jeffress

“For by grace you have been saved by faith,” we recite.
“Amazing grace, how sweet the sound!” we sing.
“We live under grace,” we claim.

Grace is part of the basic vocabulary in the Christianese language we speak. Unfortunately, many Christians today are abusing God’s amazing gift of grace. They have perverted God’s underserved gift of forgiveness and promise of eternal life into a license for immorality, self-indulgence, and uninvolvement in God’s kingdom. And in the process they are robbing themselves of Read the rest of this entry »

The Gospel is not a matter of promising God to do better, nor to amend our sinful ways, nor to reform nor give up the world; but rather, to freely receive the gift of God on the basis of Christ’s blood sacrifice.

Salvation is freely given and freely received. Eternal life is a free gift. We are not saved in any way by our own self-righteous efforts or works. It’s not what you’re doing that gets you to Heaven, it’s where you’re looking. Look to Jesus!
